  1. TERMS OF BOOKING, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND CHANGE 
  • Booking

A Boutique Villa Gyula (hereinafter: Villa) only accepts accommodation reservations via e-mail/online booking system. In order to make it easier for guests to contact us, we operate a reservation system that can be found on our website "BOOKING” under the menu item. Guests intending to make a reservation are requested to enter their requirements in the reservation system. Please fill in the data accurately and meaningfully, with particular attention to the correct entry of contact details (billing address, phone number and e-mail)!

The correctness of the data entered in the reservation is the responsibility of the guest. In order to avoid abuse, if the guest uses the phone number specified in the reservation, or is not available at the e-mail address, or the contact information turns out to be incorrect, and thus there is no possibility to confirm the legality of the reservation, Boutique Villa Gyula reserves the right to cancel the reservation, which also terminates the legal claim for accommodation.

We ask our guests who arrive with child(ren) to also state the age of the child(ren).

We can only provide information over the phone. Your reservation will only become final upon confirmation by e-mail and then based on our written confirmation. Our offer is not considered a confirmation! After making the reservation, the guest submitting the accommodation reservation acknowledges that he has read and accepts the payment and cancellation conditions.

  • Advance payment

Finalizing the reservations, it is necessary to send the advance payment. Please transfer the advance payment by the deadline specified in the confirmation. This deadline is usually 48 hours. If the payment is not settled by the given deadline, the reservation will be canceled in this case! Please, read the payment and cancellation conditions before paying the reservation!

The advance payment is 30% of the total accommodation fee. A different amount can be requested, which we will indicate in our offer and in our subsequent confirmation.

In case of bank transfer, please transfer the advance payment to the account specified in our confirmation. Please indicate in the notification column: Name (with which the accommodation was booked), date of arrival and departure.

Attention! If the payer is different from the person booking the accommodation, please write the name of the person booking the accommodation in the notification column! Otherwise, we cannot identify your payment.

Cash payment directly to the account held at OTP Bank. In this case, the advance payment will be charged. If you choose this method of advance payment, please increase the amount with the cost of the transfer. If this is not done, the fee will be charged upon arrival!

  • Tourist tax

All guests over the age of 18 pay a Local Tourist Tax (IFA), which is settled together with the accommodation fee, the amount is shown separately on the invoice. The amount of the IFA is determined by the Municipal Decree of the City of Gyula, currently HUF 550/night.

  • Payment method

The entire remaining part of the accommodation fee must be paid by bank transfer before arrival!

  • Arrival and departure

The accommodation can be occupied between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and please leave by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. In case of different requirements, please contact us. We reserve your accommodation until 20:00 on the day of arrival, after which we are entitled to sell it. It is possible to extend your stay until 20:00 on the day of departure, if no guests arrive in the room that day (extension fee: HUF 500/person/half hour).

  • Arrival, application of VENDÉGEM software

We hereby inform you that, in accordance with the current legislation, after September 1, 2021, the personal data of all guests who use accommodation services in Hungary, as defined by law, will be recorded by the accommodation provider or its agent upon arrival, via a document reader, in the software of the accommodation manager, and then stored in a storage location,must be forwarded to the Guest Information Closed Database (VISA).

The data to be recorded: surname and first name; surname and first name at birth; place of birth; Date of birth; gender of guest; nationality; his mother's surname and surname at birth (if included in the identification document); personal identification or travel document identification data; in the case of a third-country national, the visa or residence permit number, the date and place of entry.

There are two ways to record data: on site based on documents, and remotely by the guest.

In order to record the data on-site, the guest using the accommodation service presents his identity card, driver's license or travel document suitable for identification to the accommodation provider or his representative. If the document is not presented, the accommodation provider will refuse the accommodation service. Based on the authorization of the legislation, the accommodation provider is entitled to request the guest's identity document, and the guest is obliged to present it.

In the VENDÉGEM accommodation management software, it is possible for the guest to read his document himself using his own mobile phone, or to record the data of guests under 14 years of age. Before arrival, the accommodation provider verifies (e.g. during a video call) the authenticity of the recorded data, which will be entered into the VIZA system after arrival.

For this function to work, reservations are recorded in advance. After that, the VENDÉGEM software sends out the information about the preliminary guest data recording a few days before the arrival. The accommodation provider is free to forward this automatic e-mail to arriving guests. In the first step, if the guest has not already done so, he downloads the VENDÉGEM application to his mobile phone, and then scans the data of his document during the preliminary data recording. The data scanned during the preliminary data recording can be edited and corrected. The data of guests under the age of 14 can also be entered manually. After recording and saving, the guest's data is entered into the VENDÉGEM software, if the guest data is successfully recorded, the document reading status changes to "OK" on the accommodation provider's interface.

It is the responsibility of the accommodation provider to check the data provided by the guest before transferring it to the VIZA system, upon the guest's arrival. Arrival is the last step of the process, during which, if the guest's data is correct, the accommodation provider completes the arrival process in the VENDÉGEM software, after which the data is automatically forwarded to the VIZA system. If the guest does not cooperate in checking the data, the accommodation provider will refuse the accommodation service.

  • Access to the accommodation

The guest can request in advance that the accommodation provider or his representative be present upon arrival and departure. In this case, the guest notifies the accommodation provider of the expected time of arrival at least 24 hours before arrival.

After successful arrival and data recording, the guest receives a mobile application code with which he can enter the entrance gate. The Villa also has keys for the entrance door, the terrace door, the wellness area and the parking gate, which are handed over after check-in (in the case of contactless via a key safe).

  • Cancellation

If the guests cannot use the accommodation for any reason and notify the service provider no later than 7 days before arrival, the total amount paid in advance (booking or total accommodation fee) will be refunded to the guest.

If the cancellation is received within 7 days before arrival, the advance payment will not be returned either in whole or in part.If the entire accommodation fee has been transferred in advance, in that case, after deducting a fee equivalent to the reservation (30%), the remaining amount will be returned to the guest.

If the guest wants to leave the already occupied accommodation earlier than the time specified in the reservation, the guest cannot request a refund of the accommodation fee.

It is possible to change the accommodation reservation no later than 7 days before the original arrival, depending on the availability of the accommodation. The cancellation rules apply within 7 days before the original arrival.

Conditions for bookings sold by intermediaries: The present booking and cancellation conditions also apply to guests arriving through other forums selling Boutique Villa Gyula accommodation (online accommodation booking portals and travel agencies). In the event of a discrepancy between the data found on other sales channels and on the accommodation's own website (www.boutiqueVillagyula.hu), the information on Boutique Villa Gyula's own website shall always prevail. Our hotel does not assume any responsibility for their differences or any resulting damages.

 

  1. SERVICES

As part of the Villa, we provide the following services free of charge:

  • Closed parking;
  • Children's play corner (little house, slide, swings);
  • Grill, badminton set;
  • Use of Finnish and infrared saunas and hot tubs as described under "saunas and hot tubs";
  • Unlimited Wi-fi, more than 100 TV channels, board games;
  • Coffee makers, toaster ovens, kettles, washing machines, dishwashers, microwave ovens, ovens, hobs, dish sponges, dish soap;
  • Coffee and tea preparation,
  • Cooling-heating equipment;
  • Hair dryer, toilet paper, preparation containing ADA cosmetics (shower bath and shampoo, liquid soap, body lotion, hair conditioner, bath tea or bath salt), sewing kit, shoe cleaning sponge;
  • Cleaning tools: mop bucket, broom, shovel;
  • Upon arrival, clean bed linen, towels, sauna towels, bathrobes; extra blanket;
  • One weekly cleaning with change of bed linen and towels, in case of a stay longer than one week;
  • Safe;

 

As part of the Villa, we provide the following services free of charge upon special request:

  • For children: children's high chairs, baby bed, baby bathtub, potty, toilet reducer, anti-slip, sterilizer, baby bottle warmer, fall prevention, children's tableware;
  • Vacuum cleaner, umbrella, and iron, ironing board;

 

We provide the following services for a fee:

  • Breakfast preparation (it is possible to request it on the boutiquevillagyula.hu website at the same time as booking the accommodation);
  • In addition to weekly cleaning, extra cleaning can be requested for HUF 20,000;
  • Change of bed linen or towels on request at a price of HUF 5,000/set (a set means a complete bed linen set for one person, or a towel-robe-sauna sheet set);
  • Opening a safe with a key in the event of a forgotten code HUF 2,000/occasion;
  • Use of the sauna for more than 3 hours per day is HUF 5,000/3 hours in an agreed time slot.

 

  1. RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ACCOMMODATION AT THE BOUTIQUE VILLA GYULA 
  • Visitors

ONLY registered paying guests can stay in the Villa.A child under the age of 14 can only stay in the Villa under the continuous supervision of a parent or other person authorized. The child's attendants are responsible for the safety of the child and for any damage caused by the child. It is NOT possible to receive visitors or guests inside the property. Violation of this entails the payment of HUF 50,000 in compensation.

  • Safety

To preserve valuables in the property, the gate and the house must be locked at all times.

The room safe can also be coded individually, however, due to incorrect coding, opening with a key by the staff costs HUF 2,000/occasion.

Please take care of your own and your children's health when using all electrical equipment, especially hotplates and ovens. Do not allow hobs, coffee machines, remote controls, ovens, washing machines and dishwashers, gates, code locks, key safes and gate opening motors...etc. buttons for their minor children to press and roll. When leaving the house, ALWAYS close the gates and doors together with the windows. If the window is half closed, the blinds should be pulled down half way because unexpected storms may cause rain! Please turn off TVs, air conditioners, saunas, and irons during your absence (unplug irons). During the day, it is advisable to keep the blinds closed due to the strong sunlight.

There is a smoke detector in the living room. In the event of a smoke detector alarm or fire, please call 112 and then the accommodation service provider immediately. It is forbidden to operate in the Villa irons, kettles, coffee makers and other electrical appliances of the guests that are not part of the usual travel items. Damage caused by fires caused by the guest's carelessness and the cost of alarms will be paid by the guest.

Items classified as corrosive or flammable chemicals or substances in the current legislation, substances classified as flammable and/or explosive in the current legislation, fireworks, firecrackers, their parts, components, waste, psychotropic substances harmful to the environment or health may not be brought into the Villa area. If the guest brings something that cannot be brought into the Villa area without the prior written permission of the accommodation provider, the accommodation provider can remove it or have it removed at the guest's expense. The accommodation provider excludes liability for damage caused by things brought in without permission. The guest bears full legal and financial responsibility for all damage and injury caused by things brought in without permission to other guests, third parties or accommodation staff.

  • Grilling, lighting a fire

According to the fire protection rules, it is strictly forbidden to light a fire in the yard in windy or stormy conditions! When grilling, it is strictly FORBIDDEN to leave the fire unattended, to leave candles or torches burning in the garden! Fires may only be made in the grill, in compliance with current fire safety regulations. We ask our guests to use the barbecue in the yard, away from the wooden slab! It is strictly forbidden to put any combustible material other than charcoal into the grill! In any case, make sure that the embers have been extinguished, as well as whether candles, mosquito repellent coils, or other fire-related devices have been extinguished.

  • Electric car charging, cryptocurrency mining

Charging an electric car is FORBIDDEN. It is FORBIDDEN to use a server machine suitable for mining Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency! Failure to comply with the rule will result in the payment of a one-time HUF 50,000 compensation. 

  • Reception of animals

The Villa does not accept animals for health reasons! Failure to comply with the rule will result in the payment of a one-time HUF 50,000 compensation.

  • Smoking

The Villa is non-smoking, meaning that smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the closed rooms of the Villa (including the wellness area). Smoking is only allowed in the courtyard, outdoors in the designated smoking area. Failure to comply with the rule will result in the payment of a one-time HUF 50,000 compensation.

  • Neighbours’ peace

In order to keep the neighbours calm, after 10:00 p.m. it is forbidden to make loud noises, play music, engage in noisy activities, create sound effects, watch television, radio, etc. at a disturbing volume in the property. On the site of the Villa, regardless of the time, any conduct or behavior that disturbs the peace, safety, sense of security and privacy of others is prohibited. The accommodation provider is entitled to warn the disruptive and/or loud guest. The accommodation provider is entitled to immediately expel the guest from the Villa without any obligation to repay and/or compensate.

  • Villa's equipments

The guest is obliged to use the tools and equipment of the Villa as intended. The guest is obliged to compensate the damage resulting from improper use at the request of the accommodation provider, but no later than before departure, based on the attached Damage Compensation list.

Any relocation of furniture may only be carried out by the accommodation provider or its appointed representative.

Taking any belongings from the Villa without the prior written permission of the accommodation provider is considered a crime, and in this case the accommodation provider will take the necessary criminal and civil legal action.

The guest is obliged to notify the accommodation provider of the failure of any of the Villa's equipment, furnishings or equipment. The guest is not entitled to correct the error himself or to attempt to correct it. The accommodation provider excludes liability for resulting damages.

Towels, robes, sauna sheets: For indoor use only, not to be taken to the beach!

  • Waste management

Always put plastic bags in the trash cans in the house! Please do not store perishable and decomposing garbage in the kitchen bins in the house for days, please take it out to the black containers for collecting waste placed in the yard. Collection of plastic bottles: placed in a bag or in the yellow waste bin. Please throw the plastic bottles in WHIPPED!

  • Cooling-heating

Air conditioners in the Villa can be used - on demand. The remote controls are located in the wall bracket under the air conditioners, please keep them there to avoid mixing them up. Please make sure that you do not operate the air conditioner with the window/door open. The equipment can also be operated remotely by the accommodation provider. In the case of unreasonably high (above 24 ̊C) or low (below 20 ̊C) temperatures, the accommodation provider reserves the right to change the settings for efficient energy management.

Villa is equipped with Nobo electric heating panels and heating mats, which can be used during the heating season (October 15 - April 15). The equipment can also be operated remotely by the accommodation provider. In the case of unreasonably high temperatures (above 24 ̊C degrees), the accommodation provider reserves the right to change the settings for the sake of efficient energy management. Heating off-season can be solved with air conditioning.

  • Saunas and hot tub

The Villa's wellness area includes an infrared and a Finnish sauna. Please operate these only when in use. The operating time of the Finnish sauna is 3 hours per day, which can be used between 16:00 and 19:00. Turning on and off the sauna is the guest's task and responsibility. We prepare user manuals. The remote control of the Finnish sauna only allows switching on during operating hours. (Please contact us if you require a time interval outside of the fixed operating hours or extra operating hours.)

  • Everyone can use the saunas only at their own risk;
  • Showering is mandatory before sauna use, drying with a towel is recommended;
  • It is FORBIDDEN to bring slippers into the sauna, they must be left in front of the cabin entrance;
  • Children under the age of 14 can only use it under the supervision of an adult;
  • It is mandatory to use a towel or sauna sheet on the bench, which must be placed in such a way that the body surface does not come into contact with the bench;
  • 3 people can stay in the Finnish sauna and 2 people in the infrared sauna at the same time;
  • Eating and drinking in the saunas is prohibited;
  • It is forbidden to use saunas while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs!
  • In the saunas, it is forbidden to sprinkle any kind of liquid, chemical substance, honey or even sauna oil on the person taking the sauna, or to splash it;
  • It is forbidden to touch the infrared radiator and its accessories and it is dangerous, it will burst when exposed to cold water;
  • It is forbidden to use scraping devices in the cabins;
  • The accommodation provider will reimburse the guest for any damage to the sauna's furnishings and equipment caused intentionally or through careless behavior;
  • People suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and other vascular diseases, people suffering from sudden illness, and people suffering from any infectious disease cannot use the sauna. Before using the sauna, it is recommended to ask your family doctor for advice. Only healthy people can use the sauna cabin;
  • After sauna, cooling the body and drining fluids is very important, showering with warm water is not recommended;
  • In order to avoid burns, jewellery should not be worn in the cabin.

The hot tub is filled and heated upon the Guest's arrival, with clean tap water. Depending on the weather, the heating time can take up to half a day. The use of the hot tub is at the guest's own risk. The temperature of the hot tub can be adjusted remotely, the guest can control it by turning it on and off. The set temperature is 36-38 ̊C. Two people can take off the top of the tub and put it back. In order to keep the heated water warm, please put the top back on when the tub is not in use.

  • It is not recommended to use the hot tub during pregnancy, during medication, with diabetes, infectious skin diseases, and cardiovascular problems, so always consult your doctor!
  • Do not use the hot tub if you have an open wound, eye disease, or burns!
  • Children under the age of 14 can only use the bath under parental supervision.
  • Items made of glass must not be placed on the edge of the pot or its surroundings. In the event of broken glass, someone can be injured, and children can cut their hands and feet with the bottles left behind. Only plastic cups are allowed in the tub!
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited during use!
  • Food and alcohol consumption are prohibited!
  • It is forbidden to use the kettle while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs!
  • For the sake of the health of those using the kettle, stabbing and cutting tools, e.g. corkscrew, knife, etc. use is strictly prohibited!
  • Please do not stop or move the buttons and pipes on the soap bath! It is forbidden to stretch the dispenser opening of the container! If this does happen, the damage caused must be compensated!
  • Jumping in the tub and from the edge of the tub is prohibited!
  • Showering before using the hot tub is mandatory!
  • To protect your own and your partner's health, please do not have sex in the hot tub!
  • Do not use the tub alone!
  • WIFI

The Villa has a Wi-Fi system, guest can use it free of charge. The guest receives the Wi-Fi password upon check-in, at the same time as receiving the keys. The accommodation provider does not guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of Wifi. The accommodation provider is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused to the guest's device or its contents during or as a result of the use of Wifi. The guest uses the service at his own risk and responsibility.

  • Changing the settings of electrical equipment

Some of the Villa's devices can be controlled remotely. Changing the settings of the devices (with the exception of temperature control), overwriting them, intentionally disconnecting them from the WIFI system, preventing remote access is FORBIDDEN!

  • Parking lot

The Villa has a parking space within the property, for maximum 2 cars. Please do not park on the street if possible.

  • The Villa's liability for damages

The guest uses the Villa's equipment and other services as intended, with the awareness and knowledge of his own health, physical and mental state, and therefore assumes responsibility for damages resulting from improper use or use that is not in accordance with the actual health, physical and mental state of the guest. is excluded by the accommodation provider.

 

  1. ACCEPTING THE HOUSE RULES

The house rules of the Villa has been accepted by the guests (customer of the invoice) upon arriving by taking over the key and will consider them binding during their stay here. They all accept it, and the customer guarantees that those coming with him will also comply with its provisions.

In all cases, the parties will attempt to resolve disputes arising from the accommodation contract amicably. If the peaceful settlement does not lead to a result, the parties will direct the resolution of the disputes to legal channels. The parties submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Gyula City Court or the Békés County Court, depending on jurisdiction, to resolve their disputes arising from this contract.

You can issue a complaint at: the Békés County Consumer Protection Authority (5600 Békéscsaba, József A. u. 2-4) or the Conciliation Board organized under the Békés County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Address: 5600 Békéscsaba, Penza ltp. 5.)

Compensation list

The guest acknowledges that if he/she causes damage to the accommodation property or its furnishings or violates the relevant house rules, he/she must pay a fine, in the amount specified in this appendix, to the service provider within 8 (eight) days of the detection of the damage.

  • Reception of non-administered visitors and guests HUF 50,000
  • Charging an electric car, mining bitcoin or cryptocurrency HUF 50,000
  • Smoking in places where smoking is not allowed HUF 50,000
  • Damage caused to furniture and other wooden surfaces – HUF 50,000 / damage
  • Damage caused to floor coverings and stairs: HUF 100,000/sq.m
  • Damage caused to sanitary ware / washroom: HUF 200,000 / damage
  • Damage to electrical equipment: HUF 200,000/damage
  • Damage caused to wall painting/plaster: HUF 100,000/sq.m
  • Damage caused to switches/light fixtures: HUF 100,000/damage
  • Damage to window shutters: HUF 100,000/damage
  • Damage caused to saunas and hot tubs HUF 200,000/damage
  • Damage caused to items not included in the list or to other parts of the property: HUF 100,000 / damage
  • Accommodation of pets, animals: HUF 50,000,
  • In the event of a pipe blockage, we charge a HUF 50,000 blockage removal fee,

In case of loss of the key or (TV, air conditioner) remote control, HUF 20,000 / piece.
